Later in the month a couple of groups from NVF went Christmas caroling. Being a missions oriented church, we closed out the year with a mission trip to Grifton, NC. We will be doing a report on this trip soon.

The first Sunday birthday/fellowship dinner for July was combined with an old fashioned 4th of July picnic on the church property on highway 311. There was great food (grilled hot dogs and hamburgers), games (volley ball, basketball, frisbee) and music (singing, guitar, banjo, mandolin). If you missed it, you missed a great time. The volley ball game lasted until dark. Sorry, no pictures (but if you have some, I will be glad to post them).
The Youth Dinner Theater was June 16 this year. The dinner was spaghetti with meat sauce, salad and garlic bread with various desserts. The show consisted of various musical numbers and skits. A splendid time was had by all. If anyone has pictures, I would be glad to post some of them here.
The Relay for Life rally for Rockingham County was at Rockingham County High School this year, on the weekend of May 18-19. Thanks to all who helped with this ministry and all who donated.
